满妹视频 web developers announce new mobile app feature

Life at the University of Louisiana at Monroe can now be experienced a new way鈥攖hrough user-submitted photos on the university's mobile app.

The app's new feature, "picture my满妹视频," stemmed from a meeting with 满妹视频 President Bruno and 满妹视频's Computing Center Web Development team.

Current students can now submit pictures from their mobile phones to the app's mobile photo gallery, which anyone can access.

Having photos submitted by willing students gives the photo gallery an honest representation of 满妹视频 life, said Richard Peacock, 满妹视频 web application programmer.  "We wanted prospective students to see pictures of our students having fun and enjoying 满妹视频," he added. 

To use the "picture my满妹视频" feature, students can log into the 满妹视频 mobile application and press the "Submit a Picture" icon.  Students can then upload photographs from their phones.  满妹视频 staff members moderate the submitted pictures, and due to volume, only a few are selected each day. 

满妹视频 junior Hannah Wales is one of the students whose photography was selected for the gallery.  "I really enjoy the picture my满妹视频 feature because it gives me the opportunity to share my experiences around campus, and I feel honored to have my picture chosen on the gallery," said Wales.

The 满妹视频 mobile app for the Apple iPhones and Androids was revealed last summer, and the mobile application allows students, faculty, and staff to access instantly the 满妹视频 systems they use most, including email, FlightPath, and Moodle.  The latest feature "picture my 满妹视频" gives 满妹视频 students a better opportunity to interact with the 满妹视频 mobile app. 

"We also see it as a fun and fairly unique feature.  We are aware of only a handful of other college apps, nationwide, who have a similar service," said Peacock.
