ย๚รรสำฦต associate dean elected president of national business organization

A national organization recently elected a University of Louisiana at Monroe faculty member to serve as its president.

ย๚รรสำฦตโ€™s Dr. Michelle McEacharn, associate dean in the College of Business Administration, was elected president of the Federation of Business Disciplines at the annual conference held March 2-6 in Dallas.

The FBD is a nonprofit, volunteer driven organization founded in 1973. Its primary purpose is to advance business knowledge and practice.

โ€œThis position helps me to promote awareness about ย๚รรสำฦต,โ€ said McEacharn. โ€œIt helps build our reputation as a high-quality institution with faculty who are committed to advancing their individual professions and business education in general.โ€

McEacharn also serves as faculty chair for the ย๚รรสำฦต Accounting Program.
